A couple of weeks ago, a new device Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro launched in China. Now the company is working on a new tablet which is Redmi Pad. Right now it’s just a hint by the leakers that will be cleared when an official statement was made by the company. Now, Redmi Pad is shown in the Bureau of India Standards (BIS) certification listing with the Model number 22081283G revealed by a tipster Mukul Sharma. If we consider this information, we can say that it will show up in the Indian market soon.
However, the BIS certification listing doesn’t reveal any details about the Redmi Pad apart from the model number. Previously, SnoopyTech mentioned on his Twitter handle that Xiaomi Global launch event is going to be held in October. The main focus will be on this Redmi Pad and it could share the platform with the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro.
Redmi Pad has two color options, one is Moonlight silver and the second is Graphite gray, there could be others too. It has 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM for storage. These are the hint given to the tipster.
Redmi Pad already got the UAE’s TDRA certification with model number 22081283G. This info shows that this is a Global variant of the Redmi Pad. Right now it only has a Wi-Fi-based model.
