For Xiaomi users, there’s one Good news and one Bad news. The good news is Xiaomi launched its MIUI 14 on December 11, 2022, with lots of changes and different features. New MIUI 14 is liked by users very much from all the regions. Xiaomi introduced features like ‘Super Icons’ and ‘Plants & Pets’ which are new to MIUI. The bad news is there are some Xiaomi devices that won’t get MIUI 14. Lots of other phone users waiting for this update.
After the launch of MIUI 14, the hope of MIUI 13.5 is gone. In this article, we share a list of devices that won’t get this MIUI 14. There could be different reasons for making this decision but the reason we see is the models are either old or not able to handle this update.
MIUI 14 didn’t come with that many features in Global ROM and it can be the same as the previous MIUI 13. But the MIUI 14 package contains Security Patch which at least enhances the System Security. Some phones like Redmi 10A and POCO C40 / C40+ are not on the list to receive MIUI 14. These phones are old to adapt to these new updates. Their hardware is not able to endure the complexity of MIUI 14.
This is sad news for these phone users but it could be good news for some devices. Some new phones added in their places. Soon Redmi 10A and POCO C40 / C40+ phones will be retired. These phones work on Android 11, which makes it difficult to upgrade.
