As we all know that Xiaomi provides a list of EOS (End of Support) list every year but this year things are a little different because the recent list also includes POCO X2, whose MIUI 13 update was in internal testing, and now it’s in the EOS list. The last internal MIUI build of POCO X2 was V13.0.3.0.SGHINXM.
POCO X2 was first introduced with Android 10 based on MIUI 11 and currently runs on Android 10 based on MIUI 12 with a version number V12.5.7.0.RGHINXM. The first company was planning to provide Android 12 based on MIUI 13 which was in internal testing about 8 months ago.
Why not POCO X2 will get MIUI 13 update?
Now it seems that due to some errors in the upcoming update of POCO X2 company changed its mind about it. Xiaomi clearly made it Official so it’s all true. This could be shocking for the POCO X2 users because they were waiting for this update for a long time now they have to be satisfied with the recent version.
There is some reason for POCO X2 to not receive these updates because POCO X2 models having a Camera related problems and there are other issues that were found by users. If we consider this information then it seems reasonable for Xiaomi to remove their focus from this particular phone.
If POCO X2 still wants some changes then they can go for unofficial enhancement software that was created by some other software developer.
