Recently POCO launched two new devices in the Indian market named POCO X5 5G and POCO X5 5G Pro. We are hearing about another phone, POCO X5 GT arriving soon with model number 23049PCD8. Now the POCO X5 GT has been spotted on the IMDA certification website.
POCO X5 GT IMDA certification
As per IMDA, the POCO X5 GT has model number 23049PCD8G. The listing confirms that the device will have support for 5G, Bluetooth, NFC, and Wi-Fi. Apart from that no major changes are part of this certification.
Previously the device appeared on BIS certification with model number 23049PCD8I while TKDN certification shows 23049PCD8G as a model number.
The new phone is lined up to be released in China, as a Redmi Note 12 Turbo. Due to its IMEI data, a rumor is floating in the market. The rumor says that POCO X5 GT could be a rebranding version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo because share the same model number. We will get more information if either one comes into the market.
Redmi Note 12 Turbo could have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 processor. Its 3C certifications show a 67-watt fast charging support for this phone. If Redmi Note 12 Turbo and POCO X5 GT are really the same phones then, they will share the same specs in multiple ways.
