In this world everything has some lifespan, a similar concept works in Smartphones. After the devices are released their time starts ticking. We call it End of Support (EOS), Xiaomi comes with a list of such devices and updates it on regular basis. If the device comes in this list, that means these phones will no longer get any kind of updates from Xiaomi.
To focus on new phones or upcoming devices they have removed some load. Another reason is that these old models can’t keep up with the advanced software because of back-date hardware.

Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 8T, Redmi 8A Dual, Redmi K30 5G Speed, Mi 9 Pro 5G, Mi CC9, Mi 9 Lite, and Mi 9T Pro are now transferred to the Xiaomi End of Support list, which means from now on these phones will not get any updates from the company.

A new year means new devices, which also makes some EOS list bigger. Some POCO phones like POCO X2, POCO F1, and POCO phone F1 came under this list.
From here on these phones won’t get any small or major updates from the company. This process is required to keep up with the latest Hardware and software.

New devices were added to the EOS list means these phones will no longer be eligible for any new updates by the Company. Those phones are Redmi K30, Redmi K30 5G, Redmi 8, and Redmi 8A.
Well, it is the obvious thing done by Xiaomi because it is not easy to provide updates to every phone so they do this from time to time, to focus more on recently released devices.

But the thing that makes it a little sad is that these phones will not get MIUI 13 and Monthly Security updates in the future.

Xiaomi keeps updating its list of EOS. This time Mi A3 and Mi CC9e were new to this list. It’s bad news for their users because. These updates let the phone keep going for more time. There are no more security updates means the security of your phone will get out of date which makes your data vulnerable.
Go through the list of 83 devices mentioned below. If your phone is on that list then your phone no longer receives any updates. Due to updates, our phones keep up with the present day.
