We got some information, which could be sad for Redmi 9C / NFC users because there is no MIUI 13 update for you. While Redmi 9C / NFC is eligible for MIUI 12.5 but some regions didn’t receive this update till now. We are assuming that it could be because of old hardware or Xiaomi’s update Policy.
Redmi 9C / NFC was introduced with MIUI 12 and Android 10. Previously it got an upgradation and currently runs on MIUI 12.5 with Android 11. As we said earlier Redmi 9C/ NFC didn’t get MIUI 12.5 in some regions like Turkey. In India, this phone was launched as POCO C3 and doesn’t receive the MIUI 12.5 update.
The last internal build was MIUI-V23.1.12 for Redmi 9C / NFC. While the last internal build for Turkey was MIUI-V12.5.2.0.RCRTRXM. It was an MIUI 12.5 update but Company found some issues in the update and canceled the release. We are assuming Turkey users will not get the MIUI 12.5 update.
Similarly, the last internal build for Redmi 9C aka POCO C3 was MIUI-V12.5.3.0.RCRINXM. This is an MIUI 12.5-based build. The update was tested for the phones due to some issues Company stopped its release. Both phones didn’t get any major updates in a long time.
All this confirms that devices like Redmi 9C / NFC, Redmi 9/9activ, Redmi 9A/ Redmi 10A/ 10A Sport/ 9AT/ 9i/ 9A Sport, and POCO C3/ C32 are not eligible for MIUI 13 update.
