As we know the Android 14 Developer Preview 2 is now available for Pixel devices, it shows a few interesting new features and one is known as Material You Contrast Level Slider. This feature allows users to change the contrast of Material You Themes.

Google, first introduced this feature with Android 12 and continuously improved it. The material You themes cover all of the phones including keyboards and some third-party apps.

From now on Android 14 Material You Contrast Level Slider will let you adjust the contrast of themes in a more efficient way.

To use this feature, Go to your Settings menu on your Pixel phone with the latest developer Preview, and tap on the Colour & Motion option. There you will find the slider named contrast level to adjust it. Currently, three options are available, Standard (default mode), High (Higher Contrast), and Middle ( Lower than high but higher than default). It all depends on the theme colour.

This contrast adjustment only adjusts the colour scheme to the middle or highest settings without changing the design and other effects.
