For a long time, we are hearing that Xiaomi claims to decrease the number of pre-installed apps in MIUI 14. But according to recent information, Xiaomi is adding new Bloatware/Pre-installed apps in MIUI 14. These apps could annoy some users.
According to sources, Opera browser is now coming in the MIUI 14 Indian ROM as a pre-installed app and users can’t uninstall it. But there is no sign of Opera browser on other ROMs like EEA/ RU/ TW/ ID/ TR.
According to Kacper Skrzypek, Opera browser is available on Global and Indian regions, this can be uninstalled from Global ROM but not from Indian ROM, it’s coming with March 2023 Security Patch as a pre-installed app on MIUI 14 (Global & India).
Mi browser is banned in India because of the Indian government. This news could feel bad because Xiaomi promised lesser Bloatware apps but things are changed.
According to the source, Mi 11X, Xiaomi 11T Pro, and Xiaomi 12 Pro device users have already seen the Opera browser is now a new Bloatware/Pre-installed app on MIUI 14 Indian ROM but there was no option to uninstall it.
