Affordable lower-end devices are globally sold. Now, An affordable phone Redmi 12 has appeared on the FCC, and IMEI database ahead of the launch with the model number 23053RN02Y via Kacper Skrzypek.
The Redmi 12 is expected to launch in several regions as another affordable smartphone from Xiaomi. The IMEI database confirms the model number and moniker of the device while it will come with 4G connectivity as per the FCC website.
The listing also confirms that the device runs MIUI 14 out of the box. It is expected to be based on Android 13. The phone will have an MDY-12-EA power adapter which means it supports 33W fast charging. It could be equipped with a 5000mAh battery at least. But according to a tipster, Redmi 12 will be powered with a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC.
The device is expected to feature a triple camera setup, a fingerprint reader, and an LED flash. This smartphone might be available in China first and will come to other regions later.
