In this year Xiaomi already launched some Flagship and mid-range phones. Now one more budget is going to launch under Redmi branding, which is Redmi 12 already got IMEI, FCC certificates and is now spotted on TUV certification with model numbers 23053RN02Y, 23053RN02L, 23053RN02A.

The TUV listing reveals the model number of the forthcoming Redmi 12 but no specifications are mentioned in the database. These model numbers are similar that were earlier revealed through other certifications.

According to the IMEI database, Redmi 12 is registered with model numbers 23053RN02Y, 23053RN02L, and similar model numbers 23053RN02Y, 23053RN02L have appeared in FCC certification.

As we know this certificate provides some information on upcoming phones. According to the FCC certificate, Redmi 12 will have 4G connectivity and MIUI 14 out of the box. In addition, the listing also revealed that the device will feature a charging adapter that has the model number MDY-12-EA and supports 33W fast charging.  It could be packed with a 5000mAh battery at least.

We are hoping for Android 13 with MIUI 14. If we compare it with recent launches like Redmi Note 12 Pro which came with MIUI 14 based on Android 12, then it seam fair to have Android 12 in Redmi 12 as well.

The smartphone is expected to come with a triple camera setup, a fingerprint reader, and an LED flash. This phone is likely to be launched in China first and will come to other markets later.
