Previously we are hearing several leaks about a new upcoming POCO device. Yesterday, POCO confirmed that POCO F5 will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset. Now, the company confirmed that POCO F5 will launch in India on May 9, while POCO F5 and POCO F5 Pro Global debut on the same day.
In India, POCO F5 will be available on Flipkart. Before the launch, a live promotion shows its white color. POCO, confirm that the POCO F5 is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo which is launched in China.
According to the source, POCO F5 will cost around ₹29,000. Considering its specifications and features it’s a fair deal. POCO didn’t mention anything about the pricing. Different variants based on RAM + ROM will cost differently. We will get the exact pricing before its launch.

POCO F5 Specifications (Expected)
POCO F5 could feature a 6.67 inches 12-bit Flexible OLED panel with FHD+ pixel resolution. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor built on a 4nm process, coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
POCO F5 is expected to come with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a primary 64MP sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, the 16MP camera could be placed inside the punch-hole in the display. It is likely to feature a large 5000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging and runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13 out of the box.
POCO F5 Pro Specifications (Expected)
POCO F5 Pro is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It could come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with up to 16GB of RAM + 512GB of storage and runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13 OS.
It is expected to sport a triple camera setup at the back, consisting of a 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it could feature a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls. The POCO F5 Pro may be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
