As we know Airtel and Jio released their 5G network in India. Recently, 5G support was added to Mi 11X, Mi 11X Pro, and Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G models in India. As per a Twitter announcement from Xiaomi India, Jio’s 5G Connectivity will be supported by four new smartphones.
Xiaomi partnered with Airtel which uses non-standalone (NSA) 5G technology while another partner Jio uses Standalone (SA) 5G technology. Airtel currently supports 20+ Xiaomi and Redmi devices in India.
Mi 10, Mi 10i, Mi 10T, and Mi 10T pro will get Jio 5G support soon from Xiaomi. All these phones do have 5G hardware and need to activate. After this update users will be able to access the 5G network.
