Xiaomi provides all the necessary updates for their users like apps update, security patches, and some Beta updates. According to the latest information, Xiaomi is planning to suspend MIUI 14 Beta updates for a few smartphones.

According to MIUI development version V14.0.23.6.8.DEV, MIUI 14 Beta update will be suspended to some devices from September 22, 2023. These smartphones are Xiaomi 11, Xiaomi 11 Pro, Xiaomi 11 Ultra, Redmi K40S, Redmi Note 11T Pro, and Redmi Note 11T Pro+.
Alongside, the 603rd weekly announcement also mentioned those devices that no longer get MIUI 14 Beta from August 4, 2023. These devices are Xiaomi MIX Fold, Xiaomi MIX 4, Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 5G, Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro WiFi, Xiaomi Pad 5, Xiaomi CIVI, Xiaomi CIVI 1S, Redmi Note 11 Pro/ Pro+, and Xiaomi 12X.
Xiaomi will only stop weekly MIUI 14 Beta updates, while the owner of these models will receive stable MIUI 14 updates, Security Patch, and other updates till these phones are listed on the EOS.

Xiaomi clearly mentioned that these phones will longer get any MIUI 14 Beta update from April 21, 2023, this list of devices includes – Redmi K40 Pro/ Pro+, Redmi K40, Xiaomi Mi 10S, Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G, Redmi K40 Gaming, and Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G. This is sad news for their users.
But these phones will get stable MIUI 14 updates, Security Patch, and other updates in the future. It is expected that these phones will end up on the EOS list soon.

With MIUI based on Android 13, Xiaomi decided to provide two versions, one is the Development version and the other is the Official version. The development version acts as the testing version which is limited to experienced fans who want to experience the latest version first. These versions carry danger to phones because of their highly unstable nature. While some phones didn’t have these Development versions get the Official version. This Official version was used in internal testing.
While an Update log system works to remove problems that could affect users’ experience. Some apps in the MIUI system are decoupled to improve users’ experience. This can be upgraded through the store. Due to continuous iteration, some fixes may not be fully visible.
