One of the most noticeable changes is that Xiaomi going to bring ovalized icons with an aspect ratio of n:3. Back in time with MIUI 10, the company used rectangular shape icons.
In 2021, Xiaomi put a huge effort to convert its app’s logo from rectangle to oval at the aspect ratio of n:3. These cornered icons give a more elegant look and it will continue in the upcoming MIUI 15.
Xiaomi is going to adapt Google Material You in MIUI 15 and it will be available with Android 12 & Android 13, so more devices will get the opportunity to explore this upcoming update.
The automatic creation of Material You icons which is introduced in Android 14, allows the system to generate customized icons based on the visual character of the app. We will get all these features in MIUI 15 with the new interface.
Xiaomi also going to introduce Redraw icons in MIUI 15. This feature allows users to modify or customize the appearance of specific icons, greater flexibility in personalizing the interface. You can adjust the color, shapes, and details to create a unique home screen look.
