Xiaomi fans are eagerly anticipating to enjoy the MIUI 15 update based on Android 14 OS. However, a few devices did not get the Android 14 but will receive an Android 13 based MIUI 15 update.
As per Xiaomiui.net, Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 10S, and POCO F3 users won’t receive Android 14 but get the most awaited, MIUI 15 update based on Android 13 software.
The news about these handsets not getting Android 14 has disappointed some users. Over the years, Google has been working in Android OS to continuously evolve and improve with the latest features.
Recently these models appeared on the Xiaomi server which confirms that Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 10S, and POCO F3 will receive MIUI 15 based on Android 13 OS instead of Android 14.
The last internal MIUI build for these devices is V23.9.15 is a clear indication of the next MIUI skin. These versions suggest that the update is currently in the development phase. However, Xiaomi has yet to make an official announcement about MIUI 15.
Many users are disappointed but Xiaomi is concerned about enhancing the user experience and improvement with Android 13-based MIUI 15. These phones may have a little bit of the possibility of getting Android 14 in the future.
