Xiaomi began testing Android 14 for several devices. As per Xiaomi’s update policy, the update was first rolled out for the flagship device and later moved to mid mid-segment. Now, the company has expanded the Android 14 based MIUI 15 testing for more devices.
Some of the devices will get Android 14 based on MIUI 15 while a few can be Android 14 based on MIUI 14. As per the previous leaks, MIUI 15 is expected to be showcased in late October or November.

Now the Android 14 based MIUI 15 testing has begun for more than 8 smartphones including Xiaomi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi CIVI 1S, Xiaomi CIVI 2, Xiaomi 11T Pro, Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, Redmi K40 Pro / Pro+, Redmi Note 13 Pro+, Redmi Note 13 Pro, Redmi Note 13 5G, and Redmi Note 12S. Xiaomi users are anticipating significant performance improvement and new features from the next Android 14-based MIUI update.
The first internal build for these models is V23.9.27. Xiaomi is known for its new innovations with this update, it will offer a better performance, faster, and smoother experience.
Users are wondering when the stable Android 14-based MIUI 15 update will roll out for the above-mentioned models. It is currently in the beta stage to check whether it contains any bugs and is expected to release of stable version in 2024.
