Xiaomi has officially announced the Xiaomi 14 series with HyperOS will be unveiled at the end of October in China. So to switch from MIUI to HyperOS, Xiaomi is suspending the Android 13 based MIUI 14 development for several devices from October 21.

The MIUI development version V14.0.23.10.15.DEV mentions that the Android 13-based MIUI 14 beta update will be suspended for some models from October 21, 2023. These devices are Xiaomi 12S Ultra, Xiaomi 12S Pro, Xiaomi 12S, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro Dimensity Edition, Redmi K50 Extreme Edition, Redmi K50 E-Sports Edition, Redmi K50 Pro, Redmi K50, and Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro 12.4.

The smartphones mentioned in the screenshot below will start getting the development build after adapting to the Android 14 update.

Xiaomi is stopping the MIUI development means the company will gradually start working on the development of HyperOS which is expected to be rolled out for the devices next month.

The company has yet to announce the HyperOS beta registration but we expect that it will start for some flagship devices in the month of November 2023.

Even before the stable rollout, some glimpses of the HyperOS have leaked on the internet such as a new control center, lock screen customization style, iOS type recent bar, new battery charging animation, and more.
