Every device which came into the market has a certain time limit in which it receives all the essential updates from the company. Whenever devices completed their software support, then no more updates are available for these models and listed on EOS (End of Support).

Well, it is the obvious thing done by Xiaomi because it is not easy to provide updates to every phone so they do this from time to time, to focus more on recently released devices. Another reason is that these old models can’t keep up with the advanced software because of back-date hardware.

No More Software updates for these 8 Xiaomi devices

According to the new EOS list, 8 new devices like Redmi 10X (CN), Redmi 10X 4G (CN), Redmi 10X Pro (CN), POCO F2 Pro (Global), Redmi 9 (CN), Redmi 9A (Global), Redmi Note 9 (Global), and Redmi K30i 5G (CN) were added.

As per company policy, these devices will not be going to receive any updates from Xiaomi in the future. These updates include Security updates, app updates, and MIUI updates.
