Recently, POCO unveiled its X5 Series in India and now is gearing up to launch the much-awaited POCO F5 5G. The upcoming smartphone is a successor of the POCO F4, which is quite popular in Indian markets.

According to 91Mobiles, POCO F5 5G will be launched on April 6th in India but POCO is yet to make an official announcement. The device price is expected to be slightly higher than its predecessor POCO F4.

A source claimed that POCO F5 5G will be a rebrand of Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which will come with the newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC. However, POCO is yet to confirm it.

The POCO device could feature a 6.67-inch QHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,400 nits brightness, HDR10+ support, and 1,920Hz PWM dimming. Besides, the phone is expected to come with up to 12GB of RAM + 256GB of storage and runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13 OS.

It may sport a triple camera setup at the back, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, 8MP, and a 2MP. On the front, it could feature a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls. The Poco smartphone is likely to be equipped with a 5,500mAh battery with support for 67W wired and 30W wireless charging.
