POCO F5 5G caught the attention of the users because it could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. Now, POCO F5 5G with model number 23049PCD8G appeared on IMDA certification.
According to the IMDA listing, POCO F5 5G will have Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC, and 5G connectivity. Apart from that, no other major specifications are mentioned in the database. Previously this same model number was spotted in the IMEI database as well as in the FCC certification.
As per FCC, POCO F5 5G going to offer two versions based on RAM & ROM are 8GB + 128GB & 12GB+256GB. It will have an MIUI 14 with Android 13 out of the box.
According to sources it is expected to be released on April 6, 2023, but POCO didn’t make any official statement on this topic. It is expected to cost higher than the POCO F4.

POCO F5 5G is expected to be a rebranded version of Redmi Note 12 Turbo, so it is likely to be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor. It could come with a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,400 nits brightness, HDR10+ support, and 1,920Hz PWM dimming. The device is expected to feature up to 16GB of RAM + 1TB of storage and runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13 OS.
It is expected to come with a triple camera setup at the back, consisting of a 64MP primary sensor, 8MP, and 2MP. On the front, it could sport with 16MP camera for selfies and video calls. The Poco phone is may be powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W wired and 30W wireless charging.
