Redmi confirmed the entry of a new phone under the Note 12 series. This time Redmi, introduced a variety of models under this series. According to the latest information, Redmi Note 12R Pro 5G is going to be launched in China on April 29. This upcoming Redmi device is expected to be a mid-range phone. We only know little about its design because of an official teaser of Redmi Note 12R Pro 5G. It shows a curved back panel including a rectangular dual camera setup. On the right side, it has volume rockers and a power button.
Redmi Note 12R Pro 5G will be equipped with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor and its high-end model will support 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage. Available color options are Gold, Black, and White.
Redmi Note 12R Pro 5G could have an MIUI 14 based on Android 13 out of the box. It is expected to have an OLED display supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. We assume its price will lie between Note 12 Pro 4G and Note 12 Pro 5G.
