As we know Google is working on Android 14 development and its testing. Slowly we are getting more information on the upcoming features of Android 14, & one of them is the drag-and-drop feature. This feature could come with Xiaomi MIUI 15 in the future.

In the present time, we used to multitask on our smartphones and to make it easy. But, with this latest OS version, Google will take Android’s multitasking abilities as more advance and convenient to use.

Recently, Nail Sadykov editor of the Google News Telegram channel, shared a post on its Twitter handle which reveals Android 14 lets us use system navigation while doing drag & drop operations. He also shared a video to understand even better.

Previously we are using split windows to do this drag & drop. But now long press on any file like text, or image & other than using system navigation go to any app and drop the file, it will open in that app. Now it more looks like swiping things between the app except for drag & drop.
