As we all know, whenever a new smartphone is launched on the market, it comes with a certain time limit to receive software update support. After completing this time devices go into the EOS list. If the device is included in this list, that means these phones will no longer get any kind of updates including security patches from the company side, now Xiaomi added new phones to the EOS (End of Support) list.

To focus on new phones or upcoming devices they have removed some load. Another reason is that these old models can’t keep up with the advanced software because of outdated hardware.

Now, Redmi 9 Prime, Redmi 9C NFC, Redmi K30 Ultra, and POCO M2 Pro have been joined to the Xiaomi End of Support (EOS) list. These phones have completed their software update support and will not get any further updates including security patches.

According to the Xiaomi End of Support (EOS), 6 new devices have been added to the list that are Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10 Ultra, Redmi 9C, Redmi Note 9 Pro, and Redmi Note 10 5G. These devices will not receive any updates from now on including security patches, so if don’t want your phone to have security bugs then switch to a new smartphone as soon as possible.

Mi Note 10 Lite has been added to the Xiaomi End of Support (EOS) list and will no longer get an update. This includes security patches, so it’s important to be aware of the risks of using an old phone.

Redmi Note 8 (ID, IN, Global, CN), Redmi Note 8T, Redmi 8A Dual, Redmi K30 5G Speed, Mi 10 Lite Zoom (CN), Mi 9 Pro 5G, Mi CC9, Mi 9 Lite, and Mi 9T Pro are now transferred to the Xiaomi End of Support list, which means from now on these smartphones will not get any updates from the company.

A new year means new devices, which also makes some EOS lists bigger. Some POCO phones like POCO X2, POCO F1, and POCO phone F1 came under this list.

From here on these phones won’t get any small or major updates from the company. This process is required to keep up with the latest Hardware and software.

New devices were added to the EOS list means these phones will no longer be eligible for any new updates by the Company. Those phones are Redmi K30, Redmi K30 5G, Redmi 8, and Redmi 8A.

Well, it is the obvious thing done by Xiaomi because it is not easy to provide updates to every phone so they do this from time to time, to focus more on recently released devices.

But the thing that makes it a little sad is that these phones will not get MIUI 13 and Monthly Security updates in the future.

This time Xiaomi adds three more devices to the end of the support list that is Mi Note 10, Mi CC 9 Pro, and Redmi Note 8 Pro. These devices no longer get any updates again.

Xiaomi keeps updating its list of EOS. This time Mi A3 and Mi CC9e were new to this list. It’s bad news for their users because. These updates let the phone keep going for more time. There are no more security updates means the security of your phone will get out of date which makes your data vulnerable.

Go through the list of 83 devices mentioned below. If your phone is on that list then your phone no longer receives any updates. Due to updates, our phones keep up with the present day.
