As we all know Google is working on its Android 14, and we are getting more and more information on upcoming features. One more feature of Android 14 that could be helpful for the users, is cloned apps this feature could be introduced in MIUI 15 in the future.

This time analyst Mishaal Rehmaan said that Android 14 could offer a hide-cloned apps feature. This is going to be very helpful for the users and it is expected from Google to introduce improvements.

We are all familiar with Cloned or app cloning, it allows users to create an identical copy of any app and use it independently. You can access similar apps for different purposes at the same time.

These features were spotted by the tipster and can be enabled with a unique flag, ENABLE_APP_CLONING_CHANGES_IN_LAUNCHER. This will allow you to hide the cloned app in the current profile and use a secondary login to use these personal apps.

We got the first glimpse of this feature in the DP1 build and later improved it in beta 2. This overall concept is good but the issue to differentiate between standard and clone apps is still there. Soon the company will release an update to fix this issue.
