Google is working on Android 14 and release it for the users as soon as possible, it is more focused on improving features. To take multitasking to the next level, the company is improving Split screen in Android 14 including a new feature named App Pair may come in MIUI 15 based on Android 14 in the future for Xiaomi users.

If you use Split screen on a regular basis, then this feature is useful for you, because it allows you to ‘save app pair’ for the future. It makes it easy to use and you don’t have to reopen these apps in multiple windows. Previously we have to open different apps to do this task again and again.

This feature was spotted in Android 14 Beta 2 via Mishaal Rahman and is still in the testing phase. It needs more polish. According to the source, you will be able to add app pair shortcuts that you use on a regular basis on your home screen.

We have already seen this kind of feature in Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and Microsoft Surface Duo, but after introducing it into Android 14, more users will get access to it.
