As you, Xiaomi has already started working on an Android 14 upgrade for some devices once testing of the upcoming major OS is over, then the company will begin releasing the stable version to the public. But, there is sad news for some Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO device users because Android 14 will be the last major update for these models. Check the complete device list below.
As per Xiaomi’s support policy, the Redmi and POCO devices except the A and C series gets 2 Android update and 3 years of security updates. Xiaomi normally produces flagship phones, that’s why they get 3 Android updates and 4 years of security updates. Xiaomi smartphones which were rolled out before Q3 2021 will get only 2 Android 3 years of security updates.

These phones will no longer get Android updates however, they will continue to receive security patches for a certain period of time until the device is listed in EOS.
