A couple of months ago, Xiaomi Cloud’s backup feature was removed from the MIUI gallery, and then the company added Google Photos backup into the MIUI gallery app. Now the popular tipster Kacper Skrzypek reveals that Xiaomi is integrating the OneDrive backup option into the MIUI gallery app.

As per the tipster, OneDrive will only be accessible by Global ROM devices and not be available for China ROM. In addition, this feature will not work on tablets.

For those who want to use photo backup through the MIUI gallery app on Xiaomi devices, users have to disable the photo/video backup in the Xiaomi cloud. Besides OneDrive feature will not be available in some regions such as Macau, Hong Kong, Russia, Belarus, Cuba, Isle of Man, Lebanon, South Georgia, South Sandwich Island, Venezuela, and a few more areas.
