Recently, the company has released the HyperOS weekly beta update for 5 models with a version OS1.0.23.11.18.DEV is exclusive to China users. Now, HyperOS beta builds are spotted for more devices which are expected to roll out soon.
In October 2023, Xiaomi unveiled its new operating system HyperOS in China alongside the Xiaomi 14 lineup. HyperOS brings some new features such as a lock screen customization, and an iOS-style recent bar which were missing in MIUI. On the other hand, users are wondering when the update will be released for Global ROM. If all goes as planned, then the Global rollout will begin in Q1, 2024.
HyperOS Beta Builds
According to the GSMChina, Xiaomi is testing the HyperOS beta update internally for Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Redmi K50 Ultra / Xiaomi 12T Pro, and Redmi K50 Gaming / POCO F4 GT, these models’ versions have appeared on the Xiaomi servers.
The last internal build is OS1.0.23.11.13.DEV, which indicates that these devices are in internal testing of HyperOS and are expected to roll out soon.
But one thing worth noticing, the weekly beta update is only available for China ROM, so users from other regions don’t try it on their devices which may cause the device to be bricked.
