Today, Samsung has launched its mid-segment device Galaxy Wide 6 in the South Korean market. The smartphone is a successor of the last year’s debut Samsung Galaxy Wide 5. But it is not confirmed yet when the phone is going to be released in other international and Indian markets.
Samsung Galaxy Wide 6 comes with a 6.5-inch Infinity-V IPS LCD display that offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. It features a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button to boost the security of the device. The smartphone has 164.5 x 76.5 x 8.8mm dimensions and weighs around 195 grams.
To capture the beautiful movements of life, The device features a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth assist lens with an LED flash. On the front, the Galaxy wide 6 comes with an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies.
The Galaxy Wide 6 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor that comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot to further expand the storage of the device and runs on One UI-based Android 12 OS out of the box.
The Samsung Galaxy Wide 6 is backed with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W wired charging. The device is available in different color options like black, white, and blue. Besides, It also includes other features such as dual-SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, etc.
