Xiaomi is one of the famous brands in Asia that provides Premium phones as well as affordable phones. But there are some things that make users worry Xiaomi didn’t provide any solid Update Policy which means it can be changed over time.

But if we put it an Unofficial Update Policy then we can assume at least two Android versions for the Flagship phone while for the rest of the devices it’s one Android version. But if the company wants to increase or decrease the Updates it can do that.

If we talk about security updates then Xiaomi offers at least two years of monthly and quarterly security updates after the phone is released in the market. Recently Xiaomi made a change on this point, that the models launched in 2020/2021, will receive this update for three years of security patch with a frequency of 90 days.
