HyperOS was officially unveiled on October 26, 2023. Recently, the company has rolled out the HyperOS update for some devices in China and is faster up the work of update release for various devices in the Global market soon. As per GSMChina, the Chinese tech giant is working on the development of the HyperOS special version for selected smartphones.
HyperOS Special Version
The special version of HyperOS has been spotted for 5 models on Xiaomi’s official server. These devices will get the Android 13-based HyperOS update.
The testing is conducted on Xiaomi 10, Xiaomi 10 Pro, Xiaomi 10 Ultra, Xiaomi 12X, and Redmi K40 (POCO F3) for China ROM. The last internal build for these models is as follows
- Xiaomi 10: OS1.0.0.1.TJBCNXM
- Xiaomi 10 Pro: OS1.0.0.1.TJACNXM
- Xiaomi 10 Ultra: OS1.0.0.1.TJJCNXM
- Xiaomi 12X: OS1.0.0.1.TLDCNXM
- Redmi K40 / POCO F3: OS1.0.0.1.TKHCNXM
This is good news that these devices will get the HyperOS as their last major update but won’t receive the Android 14 operating system. So users of these models will not experience the major changes and performance improvement of Android 14.
When will the stable build of HyperOS based on Android 13 will be released for these models? The update is expected to roll out in Q2 2024.
